Our magnificent Maya

On 2nd June 2014 we will be visiting the magnificent children from Mundella Primary School in Sheffield and doing a session on the Maya people.

We will  bring artefacts, paintings,  games, films, food and lots of fun. Children will learn about the  past and present Maya societies and will be able to translate this knowledge into relevant information applicable to their realities.

The activities will boost academic interests in the areas of “Knowledge of the World”, “Mathematics”, “Geography” and PE, among others.
